    We are funny bunch, we Sierra Leoneans. The sky could be falling and we would continue to to say "Ow for du". No wonder we continue to be ranked at the bottom of the HDI index and declared one of the most undesirable places to live.

    There obviously is a time for campaigning and poltics, and a time to put the interests of the country above all else; but we don’t seem to understand that. We see everthing through the prism of party.

    It would be futile to address the author’s specific comments. Some are reasonable assertions while others are so outlandish that his possibly well-meaning analysis degenerates into a partisan polemic— a patently obvious one.
