In the 6th (2021) and 7th (2022) editions of the National Professional Awards program conducted by the African Consulting Group, Sinneh T. Moijueh (photo) received the special honour of being among the top 100 professionals in Sierra Leone.

He is not an awards-driven person - his life is driven by two key values - love for his nation/continent and the pursuit of excellence in whatever he does. These two drive everything he does on a daily basis and nothing else.

However, if they say ‘don’t expect to receive if you’re not willing to give’ then to him it also means you should not expect to give and not receive, which is what he has been doing. He never expected anything absolutely but society has decided to pay back in its own way.

He comes from a very conservative background and never engaged in public activities up to the end of his secondary education (his teachers can confirm this). During his undergraduate studies, he realised there are crucial issues that must be confronted if our country and continent should move forward and there’s no way he can achieve that privately, so in 2014 or so he was forced into the public space because he can only achieve his dreams by talking to people.

He discovered that we ourselves are the direct and indirect causes of the nation’s challenges and the root cause is our mindset. This’s supported by the ‘Cognitive Theory’ which states that our thoughts determine our feelings and our feelings determine our actions. Every action that inhibits national prosperity therefore has its source hidden somewhere in the mind where thoughts are generated. These evil thoughts lead to evil feelings and these evil feelings lead to evil actions. The question is: ‘will you follow your emotions and try to directly grab/fight with the evil actions?’ Not really. The most effective way to address a problem is to target the root cause, which is the mindset in our case. This gave birth to his NGO, the Perfect Guide for Mankind (PGM), where we basically works on producing innovative programs that are carefully designed to help change the mindset/thoughts of Africans. We are grateful to God that we have received several feedback where people give testimonials about how a certain PGM video they watched changed their mindsets forever in ways that promote national prosperity. We just want to keep multiplying this effect until we eventually get there.

The general perception of most people is that it’s impossible but the PGM was designed by God to “not go where the path may lead but instead go where there is no path and leave a trail for the next generation”.

Sinneh met elderly people that were unhappy and he has been able to help them dissociate themselves from toxic norms and they have won over by a lot of youths to his organization, where he tries to transform them from ordinary members into change agents. He says if you cannot support us then leave us in peace but please know that they are never turning back until we get there! He will strive to be good examples of people that have succeeded through hard work and use that influence to convince the younger ones coming up that it’s possible to be successful genuinely and that he is example to confirm that - that’s what he is doing now - adding value to better influence the next generation.

Sinneh expressed special thanks to the African Consulting Group for recognising his contributions to society and commitment to professional growth over the past years.

He also expressed thanks to his dear friends and everyone in the #STM Community for their unconditional support and for celebrating this special moment with me.
