The Sierra Leone Commercial Motor Bike Riders Union is aware of a notice on social media purportedly issued by the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) on planned actions of the union’s members against private and government vehicles

While the union can’t verify whether the notice was issued by the SLP, the executive wishes to public to know that there are no such plans organised or sanctioned by the Union.

The Executive is taking steps through its administrative structures to advise all its members not to participate in any actions that will promote lawlessness or disturb public order.

The Bike Riders Union President Dr. Umaru Talie Bah, is a peace loving Sierra Leonean and for this reason he will not tolerate or entertain any rider or riders that will create public disorder.
