Just rounding up on a study tour in South Africa with officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs and the National Tourist Board. Minister Memunatu Pratt and the Director of Tourism, Mr Mohamed Jalloh representing the Ministry while Mrs Fatmata Carew (General Manager), Lucinda Kargbo (Marketing) and Kai Bockarie Saquee (Comms and PR) are representing NTB. I joined the delegation as a representative from the Private Sector.
This is a key activity in the formulation of a comprehensive National Tourism Marketing and Branding strategy which is currently ongoing and is part of the Sierra Leone Economic Diversification Project.
Our first port of call was a visit to the Sierra Leone Consul in South Africa, Mr Lansana Marah (right in photo)
