President Julius Maada Bio was recently in Kambia district in the north of Sierra Leone. He said it was a productive visit and was welcomed with he described as so much love.
The president revealed that there had a special bond with the district because it was the first place he was deployed as a young army officer after military training. betweenI had a very productive visit to Kambia District. He also noted that they appreciated his free education program.
Kambia has a lot of supporters of the opposition All Peoples Congress party and the National Grand Coalition party. The ruling Sierra Leone Peoples party is however making steady progress in the district.
