Supporters of the past All Peoples Congress (APC) government have always insisted that that the current Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) government did not initiate the numerous projects it is completing or has completed in the country. They insist that it was their government that initiated these projects and the current government merely completed them.
But at the commissioning of a very important bridge that links the Western Area and many parts of the country, the Magbele bridge, now renamed the Alimamy Dura III bridge, President Bio said APC did nothing but merely misappropriated the funds provided by EU for the construction of the bridge. A reliable source has even stated that a EU staff member in Freetown has confirmed this.
APC activists on social media have vigorously denied this but there is no official statement yet from the APC leadership.
SLPP sources say they will soon commission another important bridge, the Mabang bridge which will link the Western Area to Moyamba district and other areas in the south of the country.

projects in the Port Loko district undertaken by his government within the last four years.
