Never believe SLPP propaganda

The opposition radio stations and newspapers of the SLPP are full of fabrications, deception and lies against President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma and the APC government.

Some political pundits I have spoken to described the political propaganda machinery of the SLPP as preposterous, naive and nonsensical. What else do they want from the Koroma Administration? I think their grumpy old man Dr. Sama Banya will clear this doubt. There is one thing I am sure of: the days of the SLPP are numbered and it is high time they give progress and development a chance.

Do you want to know why most Sierra Leoneans are scared of one another? Greed and deceitfulness are eating at our very existence. Look at what damage the former SLPP government did: their members, James Jonah, Justine Bangura et al pillaged our nation’s economy. They systematically cajoled few members and ripped off the very existence of our poor people. Ngor Banya and others are still hungry for political power. Let the SLPP show the people of Sierra Leone what they have done with this money. It was meant for the people of this impoverished nation of Sierra Leone. Give an account. Check this out:

I’m not trying to flex my muscles or pick a fight here with this grumpy old man (Dr. Sama Banya), I am just pointing out that, one of the obstacles to our success in this impoverished nation is being masterminded by these so called prophets of doom and who are so blindly voicing out their opinions without any sense of remorse on the destruction they have done to our country. Let’s give the Koroma Administration praise of his good leadership.

The SLPP government relinquished presidential powers to Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma with nothing to be proud of at that time. This SLPP government emptied the national coffers, the city was dirty and nasty, our foreign chanceries were left in shambles and hunger was written on the faces of the people in Sierra Leone.

The children and women in the country were vulnerable to infectious diseases, the city of Freetown was named “The Grave Yard of the West Coast of Africa” with permanent “Black Out”, no medical facilities, no good road network and destitution was the order of the day. Paradoxically, it’s high time to tell ourselves of the good things about our present government to justify our actions, but when we really get down to it, most of the things the opposition media publish are all lies. We make up so many excuses for our lack of success, and then set up a mental feedback loop where those excuses keep getting repeated in the peoples’ minds over and over again - this is absolutely, preposterous and nonsensical. The SLPP are looking for scapegoats and lies are the only options they can resort to in order to cover their 11 years of misrule and failure.

In conclusion, I would like to say that it is fair to remind the SLPP that success comes from being honest with the people around you, yourself and finally admitting that you can learn from your mistakes when you have failed. So please don’t trust the SLPP propaganda machine, (print, radio or online) because they are all sycophants and liars.
