Mabinty Daramy presents letters of credence to President Alpha Conde

Sierra Leone’s new Ambassador to the republic of Guinea, Madam Mabinty Daramy, presented her letters of credence to Guinean president Alpha Conde on Thursday in Conakry the capital.

Other diplomats that presented their credentials on the same day were the ambassadors of Denmark, France and Palestine.

Mabinty Daramy, returned home from Maryland, USA, where she was a vibrant political activist and had been living and working for several years a few months before the 2007 elections in Sierra Leone.

She actively took part in the political campaigning that brought to power president Ernest Koroma and the APC party.

She was subsequently appointed Deputy Finance Minister and later Deputy Trade and Industry Minister. This is her first diplomatic assignment.
