Guinean tourism director meets with Burkinabe counterparts

The Director General of the National Tourist Board of Guinea, Mrs. Kade Camara, met with her Burkinabe counterpart, Mr. Aimé Ouedraogo, Director General of the Burkina Faso National Tourist Board (photo) and Mrs.Ouedraogo Ilboudo, Director General of Tourism Promotion and Development, Wednesday in Conakry, Guinea.

According to a report from the Guinean Tourist Board, the discussions were mainly focused on partnership between the two institutions, as well as the promotion of tourism as a lever of growth and economic development on the African continent.

Both Guinea and Burkina Faso have a rich cultural heritage and wonderful sites ideal for tourism. In fact the the huge tourism potential of West Africa has remained largely untapped.
