The Chief Technical Officer in the Ministry of Information and Communications, James Comba (photo) has disclosed in the usual press briefing that forty three (43) Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Sierra Leone will benefit from fibre optic technology at the end of June.

Addressing journalists last Thursday at the usual weekly government press conference, Comba said the the fibre optic is of high quality, stressing that it is reliable, standard and efficient and of low price.

He said the two advantages of the fibre optic are that it has huge capacity and that it is used primarily for communications.
