Madam Yabome Sesay, (photo) the Tonkolili district chairperson (APC) based in Magburaka has been invited to CID headquarters in Freetown for questioning and detained.
We have not been able to talk to anybody at CID or police headquarters in Freetown but sources say her detention is linked to the recent bye-election in Samaia Bendugu, Tonkolili district, in which the APC candidate won.
Meanwhile our investigation continues.
