The Deputy Minister of Information Honourable Theo Nicol was in New Jersey last Saturday where he meet with members of the Sierra Leone community to explain and inform them about happenings in Sierra Leone.
He especially spent time talking about the recently launched Constitutional Review Committee, a body that has sparked the curiousity and interest of many Sierra Leoneans living abroad.
The meeting was organized by the New Jersey chapter of the ruling party in Sierra Leone, the All People’s Congress (APC) chaired by the chapter president Alie Badara Kamara and moderated by Cocorioko publisher and diplomat Reverend Leeroy Kabs-Kanu. Also present were New Jersey APC Secretary-General Alimamy Turay, professional nurse and entrepreneur Madina Rahman, and pharmacist and businessman Dr. Abdul Karim Kamara.
Theo Nicol who was actually my class mate most of the time at the Albert Academy in Freetown (we grew up together) is a very eloquent and intelligent speaker as the video below by Hamjat Jallomy Bah demonstrates:
