The Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland last Thursday read a budget at the House Parliament that covered a wide range of issues including child care, the job market, housing and of course the war in Ukraine which has a direct impact on the security of Canada itself. It is a budget speech of hope and freedom, laced with fiscal restraint.
