Canada has condemned in the strongest possible terms what it describes as Russia’s egregious attack on Ukraine. A statement from the office of the Prime Minister states that the Russian unprovoked actions are another clear and further violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence. They are, according to the statement, also in violation of Russia’s obligations under international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
