The Sierra Leonean Diaspora Community in the Netherlands is gearing up for a live musical concert featuring Emmerson Bockarie aka Borbor Belleh. This musical feast will take place on the 18th March 2006, in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Emerson Bockarie is a well-profiled Sierra Leonean musician, based in Sierra Leone. His famous album “Borbor Belleh” has won series of musical awards both home and abroad.
A Dutch NGO, “Stichting Vredesburo” is supporting the concert, in a working partnership with “Radio’s For Life.”
The coordinator of the Organising committee, Mr Ayo Mason, told the Vanguard that the concert is geared towards fund raising.
"Part of the proceeds will be set aside for the implementation of grass-root community based projects in Sierra Leone", he said.
