APC-Ontario elects new executive

Under the watchful eyes of Honourable Leonard Balogun Koroma, APC Diaspora Elections Coordinator and members of the national APC-Canada branch led by branch Chairman Mohamed Son Samura, the APC-Ontario chapter voted in incumbent chairman Abubakarr Kamara (ABK) for a second term of office with a brand new executive (see photo of Logus flanked by re-elected chairman Kamara on the left and Vice chairman Abdulai "British" Sesay).

The All People’s Congress (APC) is the ruling party in Sierra Leone. Honourable Leonard Balogun Koroma is also Minister of Transport and Aviation in the Sierra Leone government. This is his second political assignment in Toronto. His first was when he formed part of the high-powered delegation from national APC headquarters in Freetown that conducted the APC-Canada branch elections in August this year.

This most recent election took place last Sunday, October 2, 2016 in Toronto, the largest city in the Ontario province in Canada.

The following are the new executive to run the affairs of the chapter for the next couple of years:

9. Women’s Leader - Memunatu Samura
10. Assistant Women’s Leader - Isatu Dumbuya
11 Executive Advisor - Sheku Koroma
12. Youth Leader - Kadiatu Sesay
