President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma has called on African leaders to stay the course, continue to speak with one voice and remain united on all aspects of the UN Security Council reform process.

He made these remarks in his capacity as Coordinator of the Committee of Ten Heads of State and Government on the Reform of the United Nations Security Council during a closed session of the 26th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Meanwhile, President Koroma also held bilateral talks with the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Dr Akinwumi Ayodeji Adesina on the margins of the summit (photo).

They discussed the possibility of quick intervention in the areas of energy within the short and medium term. Dr. Adesina agreed to provide support to Sierra Leone in the energy and agricultural sectors and also proposed to address the issue of unemployment among young people.
