In the Maldives, I participated in the World Summit on Community Tourism of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in the company of Mrs. Saran Camara and Mr. Aliou Barry, Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Guinea (MCTA) respectively.

From 15 to 16 June 2022, we participated in a presentation on the future of World Tourism through Community Tourism. On this occasion, we had the honour to meet with the authorities of the country and the UNWTO, in order to request a sharing of experiences with this country which in less than 50 years has been able to create a small paradise that welcomes several thousand tourists per year.

The different Islands of Guinea have indeed the same characteristics of mild climate, fine sand, melodious wind and picturesque horizons. The National Tourist Board of Guinea, which I have the honour of heading, through the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Guinea, is now taking up the challenge of making Guinean tourism, especially seaside tourism, one of the most popular in the world.
