One of the Sierra Leone community youths in Sydney, Australia, has made a name for himself and the Sierra Leone community in New South Wales, Australia.

Chernor Bah, 14, was recently named footballer of the year by his U14 team, Lidcombe Waratah Executive Officers. He was the best and highest goals scorer through out the league matches scoring eight goals.

Bah(photo) was one of the founders of the Sierra Leone community based youth social organization known as Sierra Unite football team. He played briefly with his Sierra Leonean brothers before he transferred to his new team (Lidcombe Waratah).

He is currently on a tour in Asia, including Malaysia and Singapore with a Soccer Academy team that was founded about a year ago in Sydney, Australia to gain international professional football experience.

According to Mr Bah, there is a big prospect ahead of him in the tour. He said he stands to win a scholarship award for one of the Asian Soccer Academy Schools if he performs well during the tour.
