Seoul: Korean Professor visits Sierra Leone Embassy

Professor Kim, Hyung Sung of Sungkyunkwan University Law School in the Republic of Korea and Young- Kwon, Roh, President of Hanswel Co.,LTD recently paid a courtesy call on the Minister Plenipotentiary/ Head of Chancery of the Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Seoul.

After the exchange of pleasantries, Prof. Kim stated that his visit to the Embassy was to initiate contact and to see how best to establish friendship and cooperation between the peoples of the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Sierra Leone.

He proffered a range of areas were Korea and Sierra Leone could promote better friendship and cooperation which includes, business, journalism, education, medicine and politics.

In his response, James T.A. Sawi, Minister Plenipotentiary/ Head of Chancery thanked Prof. Kim for his kind initiative. He introduced the Second Secretary, Steven Levey.

Sawi elaborated on the good and cordial relationship that has existed between the two countries for years, the reason why the Government of Sierra Leone decided to establish a diplomatic presence in Korea to further strengthen the existing relations for the mutual benefit of both peoples. That, developing such friendship and cooperation could be of great significance in learning from each other especially the path Korea took in their development.

The meeting ended with the Professor promising to pay future visits for further cooperation.
