Sierra Leonean writer and journalist Edison Yongai has written a new novel titled "The War After the War"

It’s about Danyima, a local employee who is thrust into a world where there are no boundaries and greed and corruption run rampant. Can he survive the temptations of an un-expecting world? Can he maintain morality in an effort to keep his family? Join Danyima as he unknowingly runs his life, business, and family in a last-ditch effort to salvage what man cherishes most: his soul.

About the writer: Edison Nyambeche Yongai(photo) was born in Nemesedu, Kamaa Chiefdom, Kono District in Sierra Leone. He attended the Yengema and Koidu Secondary Schools and the Magburaka Boys School.

He is a graduate of Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, and the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia.

A prolific writer, print journalist and broadcaster, Edison writes plays, poems and short stories. He now lives in Sydney, Australia, with his wife and two lovely kids.
