Sierra Leone’s Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Honourable Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara will deliver a public lecture in Adelphi, Maryland, USA on the 23rd of September 2016.
The topic of the lecture, according to the organizers (Fans of JFKAmerica), is Scaling Up Access to Justice for All.
The Patriotic Vanguard will be represented at this event by one of our correspondents in Maryland.
JFK or Josie to friends, is rumoured to be interested in contesting for the flagbearership of the ruling All People’s Congress (APC) party in the forthcoming 2018 elections.
He is the first locally trained Sierra Leonean lawyer to become Attorney-General and Minister of Justice and if he clinches the flagbearership he will be the youngest to do so in the history of the party.
He was, until recently, the head of the country’s Anti-Corruption Commission which under his leadership succeeded in prosecuting and obtaining the conviction of many powerful people on corruption-related charges.
