Hello Africa: Evolution and revolution

The recent rise to power of the First Black Man to be elected as president in one of the most powerful states on earth shows that man’s evolution has reached a turning point.

This has made Darwin’s theory not only obsolete but extinct. Darwin’s theory has been the most racist theory ever postulated by man in a world God created with LOVE.

However, the dreams of Martin Luther King Jr., Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Nelson Mandela, Bai Bureh, Sengbeh Peh, and Reggae stars like Bob Marley, Burning Spear, Lucky Dube, have helped the realisation of this global wonder.

This recent event made collaboratively by Blacks and non-racist Whites has completed the evolution of man’s stages of development.

Africa is known as the cradle of man (Mama Africa); yet Africa and Africans have been enslaved, colonised, economically exploited, environmentally abused ( toxic waste in Ivory Coast), politically victimised with double standards, and apparently now re-colonised by military bases in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory coast, Niger etc, owned by former colonial masters.

Africa is also experiencing another form of colonialism from the imperial ambition of the USA under the cover of AFRICOM. Not too long ago, we have seen America supplying arms and giving military training to Ethiopia to invade Somalia. That miscalculated event has brought unimaginable mayhem in an already polarised state.

We have also seen the killing, decades ago, of Patrice Lumuba of DRC Congo by Belgian conspiracy, and France’s role in the genocide in Rwanda. These events are just a tip of the iceberg of the enormous human suffering Africans have been through.

Militarising Africa is the most unfortunate thing the continent is facing now at a time Africans need development in every sector and a deviation from having an agro-economy to industrial and service economy. Unlike the Middle-East, despite their anti-West/Americanism, arms and industries are juxtaposed. When will our leaders see this simple realisation and stop embezzling our wealth and sending it to foreign banks with vanity and cruelty?

Even though the victory of Obama has seen jubilation around the world, especially among Africans, there is one message Africans should learn from another ‘wonder of the world’ in this 21st century. That is the idea of a revolution. As Africans, WE CAN bring this revolution in our homes, educational institutions, work places, states and in the Diaspora. YES, WE CAN.

There has to be a revolution of the mind to think wisely and patriotically to fight against regimes that have failed us; revolution against any form of Neo-Colonialism and Colonialism (US Imperialism); revolution to stop wars and military coups; revolution to eradicate any presence of Neo-Colonial forces and would be colonial forces in Africa; revolution in the field of science and technology.

How can we justify our freedom when our security lies in the hands of people we know abused us for centuries under slavery and colonialism, exploited us economically by unfair economic policies, exploitating of our minerals through multinational corporations, to provide security for us? By this simple conundrum, are we really free and independent?

This is the time we need to continue the dreams of Martin Luther King Jr, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Steve Biko, Nelson Mandela etc.

We must not fail to liberate Africa once and for all. Take note of this: There is a long term plot and conspiracy by former colonial masters and parallel states to re-occupy Africa. You better believe it.

May God Bless Africa and Africans.
