Fourteen Under 15 boys of Freetown based FC Johansen will leave the shores of Sierra Leone today, July 29, 2008 to participate in the Group Stage qualification for the Mittnorden Cup Competition.
Speaking to this reporter, one of the co-founders of FC Johansen, Mr. Abu Kai said that he is confident that the team will make Sierra Leone and Africa proud at the competition.
Also, the coach of the FC Johansen in Sierra Leone Jonathan Rhodes said his boys are fully prepared to encounter Ukraine, Belgium, Poland and Sweden during the group stage.
The squad is full of the country’s National U-14 team. Eight officials would be accompanying the team to Sweden.
