The African Heritage Society cordially invites you to participate in
AfrikaDey Festival 2006. The festival will be on September 2nd at
Queensborough Community Centre located at:

920 Ewen Ave,
New Westminster, BC

This is the only event of its kind in the Pacific North West, an event for
the African Community featuring African Artistes and Businesses. Your

Participation in the AfrikaDey Festival would help make it a success. As
part of our role in the community, this AfrikaDey is dedicated to the
Etibako family. We have arranged a soccer tournament as a way to keep the
memory of the Etibako family alive. In addition, Darfur will be highlighted
during the festival.

The festival will bring together all people of African heritage from the
Caribbean, Africa and North America with the multicultural community in
Vancouver. It will build appreciation for the contribution of
African-Canadians to local arts and culture.

During the day there will be a
Market Place/Expo. We have booths and tables at a fee to Businesses, NGO’s,
Government Organizations and Community groups to sell and display their
products and/or services or provide information. This will be followed in
the evening with a Musical Extravaganza of exciting live performances.

We look forward to your participation in this great event. Please contact
African Heritage Society at 778-895-9242 or visit for
details. Feel fee to extend this invitation to others.
