Your thoughts about Suma is the most extraordinary memorial that I have ever read. The details of his actions reveal a character that is difficult to appreciate. This reads like a primer that should be assigned to all up and coming officials in both developing and developed economies. I commend you for your thoughtfulness about a friend and colleague.

No, I do not believe that I ever had the opportunity to meet Suma. I had heard you talk about him and was impressed that unlike the usual bureaucrat he was a person of integrity. I would have liked to have known him.
